‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 8 video: More insight on what lies ahead

We’re in the home stretch of “The Musketeers” season 3, and it certainly seems as though the time is right to get some more insight behind the scenes!

The first thing that you can check out below is a video interview with executive producer Jessica Pope, who lays out what some of the plans were for season 3, her gratitude of having so many viewers all over the world, and the idea to give the series multiple villains rather than just one that spanned the course of all new episodes.

While this particular video does not necessarily offer up much in the way of specific insight into Saturday’s new episode, we do think it is rather welcome to have this sort of big-picture perspective. It makes it clear how much pride the powers-that-be have in the overall body of work.

The second video features the Queen doing some of what she does best in playing the social / political game, and negotiating in order to get precisely what she wants. Unfortunately, the challenge for her involves finding a way to include the King, who is still ailing, on precisely everything that is going on. Before we get to the end of the series, we imagine that we’re going to get a chance to see at least a little more intrigue in this department.
