‘Reign’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Once Upon a Time’ actor set for significant role

While we may not know a whole lot just yet as to when “Reign” season 4 is going to premiere on The CW, we can at least make it clear who one key player is going to be!

According to a report from Deadline, Adam Croasdell (fresh off an appearance on “Once Upon a Time”) is set to appear in at least three episodes of the show as Bothwell. (Spoilers ahead.) The character is the third husband to Queen Mary, and his described as a “warm-hearted bad boy” by the site. He is devoted to Mary, and will be devoted to just about anyone who he is close to. We’re not sure what else he brings to the table, but royalty is something that can bring out many different qualities from someone. We just have to figure out precisely what they will be in this particular situation.

Our hope here is that new episodes of “Reign” are going to be coming on The CW on a weekly basis early next year, but much of that is going to be dependent on the ratings for some other CW shows plus some schedule plans. We certainly know that there is so much more story to tell when it comes to Mary, since her arriving in Scotland was really just the tip of the iceberg. We just hope that there is still time and space for more of her story to be told.

Rest assured that we’ll have some further “Reign” news / updates as soon as they are revealed. Just be sure to remain on the lookout for them!
