‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 spoilers: Ghost Riders in Beacon Hills
Ghost Riders are coming to “Teen Wolf.” No, they are not Ghost Riders in the sky, nor are they Ghost Riders as portrayed by Nicolas Cage. These supernatural beings are going to be central figures alongside the Nazi werewolf myth already teased for season 6, and they will have a purpose and function that is rather different than any other villain on the show so far.
In first describing how these characters work, it is best to turn things over to executive producer Jeff Davis. Take a look at his comments via Entertainment Weekly:
“The idea is that the Wild Hunt passes through your town and if you see the Ghost Riders, they’ll take you with them and make you part of the hunt … They pick up the dead as well. They serve different mythological functions, but for us, they bring a lot of danger to Beacon Hills when this storm of Ghost Riders gets stuck.”
As for more of what they represent, Tyler Posey offers up a little more information on that:
“The Ghost Riders have this power that nobody else has ever had on the show before and we’ve never showcased it. They’re in Beacon Hills for a certain reason, not because they want to be, so all of the bad stuff that they’re doing to the town is kind of just a consequence of them being there when they don’t want to be. Every other villain on our show wants something and has an evil goal. Theo wanted to be the alpha, the Dread Doctors wanted to create the Beast, and so these guys don’t really have a goal. They’re like henchmen.”
We’re certainly down for a little more of a reluctant villain, one that is more about fulfilling a purpose and less about twirling a mustache and making specific things happen for their own self-interest. It creates for a different dynamic, and in some ways these villains could be less predictable when they are not always acting in terms of what they want.

If the Ghost Riders pick up the dead, might we see some past characters who died. Many Argents, Talia Hale, villians from previous seasons could make cameos.

Whatever their talent is or what they are capable to accomplish will be very well deserve. We are anxious for the supernatural kind of entity that does not act on vanity or desire for power. I am certain they are the another kind of supernatural the show needs for the main characters to have to use their full potential against an almost completely unknown enemy. MTV’s Teen Wolf must keep going and making a greater spectacle. It is clever to introduce thematic that actually plagues adolescents and forces this outstanding pack to go beyond restrictions. Teen Wolf has just access a whole new audience, despite the violent change of airing day. As it progresses more and more people are identifying with the new characters and I hope we get to see them back for a seventh season by fall of 2018. Who knows, maybe sooner? Summer of 2018.
