‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spoilers: First details on premiere, Chad Johnson’s arrival
Fans of “Bachelor in Paradise,” rest assured that it’s going to be a bumpy ride when the show premieres on ABC on August 2. There will be drama, arguments, and probably a little bit of romance in there … but let’s be real when it comes to why you’re probably watching. This show routinely has “dumpster fire” written all over it, and we certainly don’t envision that changing this season. That is especially the case when you have someone like Chad Johnson in the cast.
Specifically, the first portion of the premiere synopsis below makes it clear that Chad is going to make at least part of his first day of Paradise all about … well, Chad:
“After being welcomed by host Chris Harrison, the hopeful lovers get acquainted at their first informal cocktail party on the beach, with drinks served by Paradise’s own bartender and unofficial therapist, Jorge. It’s a mix of former contestants and a few returning Paradise favorites ready for another chance at love. But no one is more highly anticipated than villainous Chad, hot off the heels of his dramatic exit from JoJo’s season. The divisive hunk is the last to arrive, but he makes a big splash, garnering the attention of friends, curious women and former foes. Later, Chris Harrison interrupts the party to explain the rules of Paradise, including several shocking details. For the first week, the men will hand out a rose and one woman will be going home!”
While Chad may have his fans out there, we’re not sure that any of them are the same people who are on this show. Given his reputation and the sentiment of some of the guys towards him, we certainly wouldn’t be shocked if he gets the treatment of other past guys who nobody wanted to go out with. Ultimately, we’ll just see what happens.
