‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 spoilers: What could come in ‘Girl Meets True Maya’

We are right in the middle of what we’d call the “Maya arc” on “Girl Meets World” season 3. This past episode entitled “Girl Meets Triangle” was largely about her trying to come to terms with how similar to Riley she has become; meanwhile, the next new episode on Friday entitled “Girl Meets Upstate” (pictured above) is about a secret trip that she goes on with Riley in order to find herself.

So where do we go from here? Apparently, the upcoming July 15 episode entitled “Girl Meets True Maya” is going to be a chance for her to show off her rebellious side once more; with that said, the official Disney Channel synopsis does not give too much away:

“Maya wants to do something bad to balance out all the good she’s done lately…”

So what could that be? Maybe she pulls a prank or does something in a morally gray area; it’s certainly possible that it is fun, but we also would not be surprised if she eventually finds herself pushed too far to where her actions are no longer approved-of. This is the tricky thing about where Maya is in so many ways; so many people are telling her what she should be, but in turn she may be having a really hard time trying to figure this out for herself.

Ultimately, we’re not going to say that this episode is the end of the arc, just because these are characters still in high school. This is an era of their lives where there is always going to be a certain degree of change.
