‘Supergirl’ season 2 premiere title revealed!

Supergirl -Sure, you may have to wait for a while longer to see the second season of “Supergirl” premiere on CBS, but you don’t have to wait any longer at all to know the premiere title!

In a post on Instagram, David Harewood (a.k.a. J’onn J’onzz a.k.a. the Martian Manhunter) made it clear that “The Adventures of Supergirl” is the name for the first episode of the season, and also the first that will be airing on The CW. It’s a very interesting title, and one that makes us think almost as though it is the show repiloting in some ways given that they are on a new home, and with that of course are going to come some additional changes. For one, we’re moving to Vancouver as opposed to Los Angeles, and it’s possible that there will be a few casting tweaks here and there, as well. While we assume that Calista Flockhart is going to return as Cat Grant, for example, it’s still not entirely clear how many episodes in which she will be appearing.

What we do know for now is that this premiere is going to give us our first opportunity to see Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman in the flesh, and there could be some other characters who surface not too long after this. After all, Lex Luthor’s sister is just one of the faces we are currently expecting to meet over the course of the coming season.
