Is ‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 6 new tonight on Disney Channel? The schedule for July

We’re gearing up for a big Fourth of July Weekend in America (or, if you’re in Canada, Happy Canada Day!), and with that in mind, we’re not altogether shocked that the Disney Channel is giving “Girl Meets World” a little bit of a break after airing new episodes for a month. There is still plenty of time left this year to air new installments, and as a business, it is certainly understandable that they would want to make as much money as possible with their show by airing it on nights when people will actually tune in. Tonight’s not that night, so there is therefore no new episode airing.

So when are we returning to the air? With “Girl Meets Upstate” next week! That’s an episode that you can find out a little bit more about over at the link here. We want to give you a taste in general of what is coming up for the month for the rest of this article with, per Zap2It, the series’ current schedule.

July 8 – “Girl Meets Upstate.” The return of Shawn Hunter.

July 15 – “Girl Meets True Maya.” We want to think that this episode will really give Maya a chance to find herself, something that she has struggled with as of late.

July 22 – “Girl Meets Ski Lodge (Part 1).” Apparently, Riley and company are visiting the same lodge that was made famous on “Boy Meets World” for less-than-stellar reasons.

July 29 – “Girl Meets Ski Lodge (Part 2).” Provided this schedule stays this way, the big surprise here is that the show is putting a week between these episodes, given that they earlier this year ran “Girl Meets High School” over the course of a weekend, and they did the same last season with “Girl Meets Texas.”
