‘Big Brother 18’ cast spotlight: Will Paul Abrahamian be ‘cool as ice’ in the house?

Paul -Do we have a villain now for “Big Brother 18” in Paul Abrahamian? He’s an interesting candidate for it, mostly because he’s got that alternative look, he doesn’t care what people think about him, and he’s going to try to come across as cool to other people in the house while working against them. There is a lot to like about this guy on paper, but we’ve definitely come to learn over time that this doesn’t always translate to being really good at this game.

With that in mind, let’s go ahead and get to the spotlight below!

Facts to know – He’s actually one of the youngest guys this season at just 23, he’s from Los Angeles, and runs a clothing line. As the photo above indicates, he’s obviously been growing that beard for a long time. He does tell Jeff Schroeder in the video below that there are at least some circumstances that will cause him to consider shaving the beard.

Show history – While he doesn’t really get into details on just how devoted he is to it, Paul has at least seen the show in the past during the summer. He’s familiar with it, and that could help him to have a leg up on some of the obvious recruits this season.

Past houseguest comparison – He probably fancies himself an Evel Dick sort of agent of change, but he’s not even close to matching that. He’s a less diabolical version of Matt from season 12 who, almost like Derrick, thinks he can play it cool in front of the other houseguests.

Clear weakness – The biggest problem Paul has going into this is just that he looks so much like a guy you wouldn’t trust in this game, in between the beard and leather jacket. He’ll have to work overtime just to convince people that this is a persona, one that does not necessarily align with how he will play the game. Also, almost like Nick in season 15 he may be too high on his abilities pre-game.

Early prediction – Paul will be able to live up to some of his hype, since we see him overcoming the odds and lasting for several weeks. In the wake of Vanessa going far and Derrick winning, though, we don’t see a big-time schemer being allowed to make it to the final three. He’s more of the sixth-place type.
