‘Wayward Pines’ season 2 spoilers: Is Jason questioning himself?

The second season of “Wayward Pines” has introduced us to darkness in several sources, but we’ve learned that Jason is certainly one of the largest ones. He had a difficult upbringing at times, but what he has done since taking control of the town is little excuse.

With that said, he’s far from the only problem that lies within the town walls. We’ve got for you below the first look at the upcoming June 29 episode entitled “City Upon a Hill,” and based on what we’ve got for you below, it’s pretty darn clear that Theo is facing some problems from multiple sources, and we’re also going to see Xander (who is returning to the show shortly) continue to push for his own agenda:

“The Abbies attack CJ and the harvesters, leaving Teresa in grave danger and the town dangerously low on food supplies. Then, Theo constructs a makeshift triage unit, but he may not be able to repair his marriage to Rebecca. Also, Xander still has some fight left in him as Jason questions his abilities to lead.”

For those who love the first season of the show, you’ll be thrilled to know that Toby Jones, Shannyn Sossamon and Tim Griffin are all reprising their roles! However, we’re for the most part nervous anytime we see this sort of announcement now, thanks mostly to seeing what has happened so far this season to people who had major roles in the first go-around. (Spoiler alert: It hasn’t ended well.)
