‘The Musketeers’ season 3: Show boss on desire to ‘go out on a high’
Fans of “The Musketeers” are at present stuck right in the middle of a lengthy wait. Following the death of Muhammad Ali, there was no new episode this past weekend, though there are plans to resume the series this weekend, at least according to the BBC One Schedule.
While there are still several episodes still to go this season, there is one sad reality that reminds: Season 3 is going to mark the end of the road for the show, and that is sad no matter how you slice it. This is a series that has packed a lot of fun into a short period of time, and that spirit of adventure of course inspires a desire to have more. It’s just not to be.
Even though the show may be meeting its end before long, the executive producer in Jessica Pope is very much interested in making sure it ends in such a way that all sorts of fans all over the world can be happy. For more on that, just take a look at what she had to say per the Express:
“We wanted to go out on a high … We were eager to leave at the top without petering out into something that repeats itself. We have given fans a conclusion they will be truly satisfied with. We are celebrating a wonderful series.”
If that doesn’t get you excited about the end, what will? While it’s fairly customary for executive producers to hype up the end of their series, this is a show that can really pay it off when it comes to action and fun. It’s not like you are asking the series to suddenly become something it is not.
