‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 3 preview: Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander in ‘Cops vs. Zombies’

Tonight, “Rizzoli & Isles” season 7 began with a knockout two-hour premiere that brought many important things to the table, whether it be the emergence of Alice Sands (Annabeth Gish) in a crazy / dramatic way or also Nina’s recovery. There was a lot that went on here, but at the same time, there is a heck of a lot that is still to come.

Now that we’ve said all of this, we’re rather glad that the characters are going to have at least a minute or two to kick back, relax, and do something a little bit different … though maybe “relax” isn’t the right word when we’re talking about zombies. Next week’s “Cops vs. Zombies” episode at least feels much more like something that we’ve come to expect from this show than anything so far this season. There will probably be a really great mystery at the heart of the hour, but to go along with that, we certainly also imagine that there will some humor and a few quirks that comes out seeing some of the characters in this most-unusual location.

If you haven’t seen the synopsis for the hour just yet, you can do so below:

“The team works on behalf of the dead – and the undead – after a murder at a zombie convention. Angela decides to pursue her GED after revealing that she never graduated from high school.”

In giving you the Angela storyline, we really do feel like it’ll at least be a nice chaser in some ways to all of the other craziness that exists in this hour. It’s nice to get that little personal story in there.
