‘The View’ reportedly narrowing down Michelle Collins replacement

“The View” is clearly moving quickly as a part of its quest to replace Michelle Collins.

Not too long after we first heard that Collins (who is actually one of the more entertaining members of the panel) would be checking out from the ABC morning show, The Hollywood Reporter claims that the network is looking to book now Sara Haines. She is a lifestyle anchor for “Good Morning America” on the weekends, and she in some ways reminds us of Paula Faris in terms of how the network decided to bring her over to this show … provided that it happens.

More than anything else, we are going to continue to see the show try to figure out one way or another if there is a way for this show to finally establish some sort of stability. We have not seen that really ever since Barbara Walters left, and even before that there was some flux in the panel. It’s been years since the show was at its “golden age,” and at this point, we are not entirely sure if they are ever going to get it back with so many other options out there for folks to check out if they’re looking for good daytime TV. Also, this used to be a place for inspired debate on a variety of Hot Topics, but you can similar things now elsewhere.
