‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final: Trip Hazard & Lucy, Shannon & Peter named wild cards
There is no reason to wait until the final to learn a thing or two about who the wild cards are going to be on “Britain’s Got Talent.” We have the news for you right now!
Following a public vote to determine which of the third-place acts from a previous live show would be getting a chance to move forward, dog act Trip Hazard & Lucy was voted in! Per the Mirror, Lucy had the following to say about the news:
“We are so thrilled and so thankful for the support and to have been selected as the Public Wildcard … We can’t wait to get back on that stage and have the opportunity to hopefully make everyone smile again and show off more of what Trip can do!”
Meanwhile, dancers Shannon & Peter, who gave a mesmerizing performance in the live shows earlier this season, have been selected by the judges. Here’s what they had to say:
“We are also truly humbled and feel blessed to have their support and belief in us … There are no words to describe how much support we’ve had as well from the British public.
“This is the biggest thing that’s ever happened to us and we want to make everyone proud!”
Do we think that either one of these acts has a real shot of winning the entire competition? Not really, mostly because they didn’t get voted in the first time. Yet, at the same time we do think that they’re going to at least get another great opportunity to entertain the public, and they are in the end worthy choices. They’ll add some much-needed variety to the final, given that it is dominated once again by singers.
