NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale results: Did Adam Wakefield, Alisan Porter, Hannah Hustin, or Laith Al-Saadi win season 7?
Tonight’s finale for “The Voice” had some stakes to it, mostly because there was a rather interesting narrative set up between two finalists in particular. When it comes to Alisan Porter, you had a woman who was really projected to be the favorite from the very beginning of the show. Then, with Adam Wakefield you had the sort of contestant who always wins this show. He’s a country singer from Team Blake, and you can never rule them out. Hannah Huston for Team Pharrell was an underdog, but a capable one.
When it comes to iTunes votes, social media, and everything in between, we really had no idea who was going to win. If there was ever a time for the “female coach curse” to end, this could be it based on the evidence that was floating around out there.
With that, we’re not surprised that Laith Al-Saadi finished in fourth place. Meanwhile, we also had Hannah in third. She may call the shots moving forward, but not tonight. This all came down to the showdown so many were expecting between Adam and Alisan.
In the end, though, the winner was … Alisan! The curse is over! This was no easy feat for her to pull off, so we gotta give her some major credit for delivering so big in the finale and getting her fans behind her. She was able to even win despite Adam being #1 on iTunes.

Alisan absolutely deserved it – killed it last night on every song. Her voice was as good if not better than every pro that sang on The Voice tonight. There’s no question this lady is going to be a force in the future.
