‘Reign’ season 3, episode 14 preview: Will Mary need to build an army?

If there’s one thing we know about “Reign,” it is that this is a show that constantly forces its characters into states of crisis. for Mary on the next new episode, she’s going to realize that she will need to form some sort of an army in order to have a fighting chance of getting back to Scotland. It’s unfortunate therefore that this will probably be a lot harder than she imagines, if for no other reason than that it almost always is on this show.

Next week’s new episode is entitled “To the Death,” which is certainly an ominous name when you consider everything that it could entail. Meanwhile, the synopsis below offers up a few more details on what needs to be done for not just Mary, but also Elizabeth:

“Mary (Adelaide Kane) realizes her need to return to Scotland is becoming increasingly imminent and that along with the help of Bash (Torrance Coombs), she must raise her own army to save her throne. Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) enlists Lola’s (Anna Popplewell) help to find out information about her mother, which backfires when Lola gets caught.”

The promo offers up a pretty comprehensive look at almost everything coming up, whether it be some fabulous costumes, some vows of loyalty, and also some major battles. Basically, it looks like this show is starting to gear up for one of the most exciting endings that we’ve seen to a season yet. It’s unfortunate that we do still have to wait a while to see it all unfold.
