‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 23 preview: Sarah Clarke, Duane Henry debut in ‘Dead Letter’
Fans of “NCIS,” be prepared for a heck of a sea change on next week’s new episode. We’re getting set to say goodbye to Michael Weatherly as Anthony DiNozzo, and next week on the show, we’re also getting set to see for the first time Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry. There two are poised to become series regulars for the fourteenth season if everything goes according to plan; their first test, though, is going to be debuting in the all-new episode “Dead Letter” airing on CBS next week.
The synopsis below gives you a little bit of information as to what is coming up, which includes why we are going to see these characters turn up to begin with:
“The NCIS team, alongside the FBI and MI6, continue an international manhunt for an escaped British spy who has left one colleague fighting for their life in ICU, on NCIS, Tuesday, May 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Sarah Clarke guest stars as FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe and Duane Henry guest stars as MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves.”
We know that these two are going to turn up once more in the upcoming finale, but we feel like that episode is set to be a little more of a farewell to Weatherly’s character than anything else … or at least we hope. We’ll have some more time to get into that soon, but for now we merely hope that this story serves as a worthy debut for these two. Given the love that is out there for the cast now, they’re going to have some big shoes to fill.
