‘Reign’ season 3, episode 13 preview: The Red Knights and ‘Strange Bedfellows’

“Reign” season 3 keeps chugging along, though on next week’s new episode entitled “Strange Bedfellows,” it will chugging in a direction that causes some chaos for a few people. The Red Knights are going to be causing some problems, and both Mary and Elizabeth are going to use their relationship to plan a little bit more of their next move. As a matter of fact, the actions of some people are going to lead to some unexpected consequences.

The promo below gives you at least a slight sense of some of the danger, but you can see even more of that in the official CW synopsis:

“Mary (Adelaide Kane), in order to protect Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten), unknowingly puts Gideon’s (Ben Geurens) life in danger. To save him, Mary turns to another Englishman for help – Robert Dudley (Charlie Carrick). Meanwhile, Bash (Torrance Coombs) is determined to track down the men behind the threats to Catherine (Megan Follows).”

The promo below does a good job of making almost everything clearer one way or another, whether it be the drama, the violence, the intrigue, and of course the sort of element of surprise that will have people talking for the entire week to come. We were a little concerned at first that “Reign” was doing a little much when they introduced Elizabeth and that side of the story, but the deeper that they are going into this, the more that it makes sense and the happier that we are to see it.
