‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ preview: Will Kim Fields, Doug Flutie, or Jodie Sweetin go home?
Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” has a lot of ground to cover. The remaining performers are going to be reviving some of the most popular dances of all time, and to go along with that, someone is going to be leaving the competition. The scores from the last two weeks will be combined with the viewer votes, and that will lead to an elimination.
So who is in the greatest danger? At present, we think that there are four possibilities that could be considered.
Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff – Despite a better outing during Switch-Up week, the former NFL and CFL great probably is still the weakest overall dancer remaining in the competition. Had there been results last week, we predicted he would go home.
Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe – We actually think she was in more danger last week, but there are injury concerns here. (We have seen her back at rehearsals, though, since she was hospitalized. Signs are looking good.)
Kim Fields and Sasha Farber – The former “Facts of Life” star struggled more during Switch-Up week, and we do worry about her overall fan base.
Von Miller and Witney Carson – Why him over Antonio Brown? We think that Antonio’s Disney Week performance will help carry him past the bad outing this past episode. We don’t think both current NFL stars will make it to the finale, and Von hasn’t had a breakout performance yet.
If we had to pick one person to go home this time around, we’re still going to go with Doug. He has the worst combined score through two weeks, though we could also envision a situation where Kim goes home.
