‘Quantico’ episode 20 preview: Alex, Ryan work together; the bomb search

We admit that we’re far from the biggest fan of “Quantico” when it comes to the romance angle; we’d prefer the show be more like modern-day “Homeland” and a little less like a teen drama in that regard. Yet, at the same time there are moments here and there with Alex and Ryan that are compelling, and there will be a few of them specifically during next week’s “Drive” that should have fans rocking back and forth with excitement.

To start things off here, let’s go ahead and give you some more information as to what to expect courtesy of the attached synopsis:

“With only a few weeks until graduation, the NATs are dispatched to various field offices where Alex and Ryan find themselves working a case together. Meanwhile, in the future, Shelby and Caleb’s relationship takes a turn, and Alex doesn’t know who to trust when she discovers new information about the man she loves.”

Personally, we’re just glad to see graduation almost here, which to us is (hopefully) a sign that we’re going to move into a single timeline for the second season. While this show does have some solid moments here and there, we do think at the same time it could get to another level when there’s not so much jumping around.

The promo below makes it very clear that there could be answers coming soon, but at the same time, it doesn’t exactly confirm that they are coming in this episode specifically. We just have a search for a bomb, and maybe a few things will come to light during that process.
