‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 20 video: Alicia, Lucca talk about Jason

At the center of “The Good Wife” this season has been many questions regarding Alicia Florrick’s personal life, and as of late specifically much of it has evolved into one question more so than any other: Will she leave Peter and be with Jason Crouse?

In the sneak peek below from Sunday’s “Party,” Alicia makes it clear to Lucca Quinn that this was precisely what she was planning when she told him about her plans to split from Peter and be with him full-time. What did he say in return? Apparently, he gave her a deed to Mars. This sounds almost like a plot for a “Sex and the City” episode more so than anything within the context of this show, so we are very much intrigued already to see how the series is going to deal with this.

Alicia doesn’t understand Jason, and really doesn’t know that much about him. She admits that in some ways, it took her even being in this situation to realize that this was the case. We think at the same time that Jason’s mysterious ways are one of the main reasons she has developed such an interest in him. This is not a guy who is akin to every other person out there who Alicia has been with. He’s an odd duck, he’s somewhat unpredictable, and he likes to challenge her. We do think that the two could be happy, but it’s going to take a little bit of work and a little bit of time.

Let’s just hope that along the way, this character does not turn out to be any sort of secret jerk.
