‘Dancing with the Stars 22’: Jodie Sweetin rushed to hospital; status for Monday’s show unclear

Jodie -

The injury bug has officially struck someone else on “Dancing with the Stars” after Mark Ballas hurt himself earlier this year, and this time around, it is one of the Stars actually participating.

In a statement, Jodie Sweetin’s rep confirms that the former “Fuller House” star was taken to the hospital after suffering from an injury, and her status with Keo Motsepe moving forward is unclear:

“Earlier today, Jodie Sweetin injured her left foot during rehearsals for ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and she is awaiting her official diagnosis. She is in good spirits while she waits and Keo, along with her fiancee Justin Hodak, are by her side.”

Unfortunately for Jodie, this injury is coming at a time when she is coming off of the best scores that she has obtained at any point in the competition, so you obviously want to see her recover and go further in the competition. This is also the longest that her partner Keo has ever lasted in a season.

The good news here is that it is Thursday, which is still several days away from the next performance show. Yet, if there is any sort of extended recovery time for this particular injury, you may as well go ahead and writer her off as a genuine contender this season. It’s just hard to perform when you do not have any time to rehearse, though at the moment our heart clearly goes out to her as she starts to figure out what her future in this competition could be.
