‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 21 preview: First look at Tea Leoni, cast in ‘Connection Lost’

We are firmly now into the home stretch of “Madam Secretary” season 2, and with that in mind, we do certainly expect that there are going to be quite a few developments as we get closer and closer to the finale. Relationships will be tested, Elizabeth McCord’s career will face more speculation than ever before, and we are also going to get a chance to see a thing or two more about whether or not some of the top terrorists in the world will be stopped.

With more on what you can expect moving into next week’s “Connection Lost,” we like to think that the synopsis below offers up a rather nice amount of detail:

“When President Dalton gets word that the world’s most wanted terrorist, Jibral Disah, is hiding in Islamabad, he sends the “Murphy Station” – Henry, Jane (Jill Hennessy) and Jose (Carlos Gomez) – on a dangerous mission to eliminate the threat. Also, Elizabeth and Henry go to couples therapy.”

By the time we do eventually make it to the end of this installment, we anticipate that there will be a few more surprises that will carry over into the installments to come. The finale for this season is going to air on May 8, and CBS has already confirmed at this point that a big storyline for that hour will be President Dalton determining whether or not he wants to replace Teo Leoni’s character as Secretary of State.
