Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 21 new tonight? First look at ‘The Viewing Party Combustion’

Big Bang Theory - While “The Big Bang Theory” has been kind enough as of late to advance a few of their most-important storylines, there is one reality that we as viewers do have to face now: The show is pretty far along into its current season, and there are only four more episodes to go until season 9 is done. Therefore, there are going to have to be some weeks that the network will be airing repeats, and this is one of those weeks.

See the photo above? It’s the first image that we’ve got from next week’s “The Viewing Party Combustion,” which is for the most part about a huge fight that occurs between Leonard and Sheldon, seemingly, while at a viewing party. The highlight of this image is whatever in the world Stuart is wearing. Did someone tell him that this was going to be a costume party or something? It’s hard to say, but this certainly could make for a funny moment or two.

Sidebar: It’s a shame that we’re not seeing even more of Stuart these days, given that we do really enjoy the character on the show. He’s at a point in his life right now that is still somewhat reminiscent of characters during the early seasons of the show. Everyone else is focused on some sort of relationship, and he is still fluttering around the Big Bang universe trying to find his place in life.

Anyhow, this episode arrives on April 21, and after that, we are going to have new episodes the rest of the way this season. The finale is set for May 12.
