‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 spoilers: Is there hope for Alison, Emily?

Come Tuesday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, the possible final season of “Pretty Little Liars” could be upon us … and with that comes an inevitable combination of both excitement and also uncertainty. We want to see all of the characters end up happy, and we’ve already heard from an official Freeform press release that this could be the most “romantic” season to date for our main characters.

Does that mean that we’re going to have a chance to see Alison and Emily together? They are probably two of the most-‘shipped people on the show, but at the moment there’s really not too much of an inkling that something is going to be happening immediately … though there’s still a chance down the road. Instead, all we have is the following tease from star Sasha Pieterse in a chat with TVLine:

“There’s always hope for ‘Emison.’ To be honest, though, I don’t know how long it’s going to take Alison to find out [about Elliott.] I can say that she’s going to go crazy this season, absolutely bonkers.”

Let’s hope that there is some sort of big reveal for the show at some point as we move closer to the end of the season, since we really do think that this will be the last for the show. If there are some cast members who could be considering saying farewell, do you really want to push the show forward without them around? We’re really not so sure.
