‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Jim Parsons on big Sheldon – Amy reveal

On Thursday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” there are going to be some very big reveals, especially if you are a fan of all things Sheldon and Amy. A big secret of his is going to be revealed, and there’s really not too much known about the specific content of it beyond that it will seemingly have something to do with a laptop.

So for more insight into what the emotional ramifications are for this character, and how this is something that we should appreciate on a great level, just look at what Jim Parsons had to say as a teaser to Entertainment Weekly:

“The [writers] are doing one thing after another to keep that relationship advancing without shoving it into the future … This is one of those things that doesn’t necessarily change anything from a viewers’ perspective on a day-to-day basis of watching the show, but in a subconscious way and from the groundwork of the show in general, it adds a layer of something between them.”

Does this mean that we could be getting to a Sheldon – Amy wedding? Maybe, but we don’t think there is any major hurry for that. This is a series that likes to often deal in one relationship milestone at a time, and with that the current one seems to be Howard and Bernadette expecting a child. Maybe there will be another one that is Raj-related along the way, but given that he is nowhere close to an engagement right now we don’t his being a distraction to anything that happens elsewhere.
