‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 promo teases Bran, Tyrion, and plenty of bloodshed

Now that we are less than a month away from the return of “Game of Thrones” to HBO on April 24, you better believe that the network is going to start busting out some new footage of what to expect.

In the video below, you can see what is effectively a series of little highlights about the story as a whole, and it includes everything from dragons to Dany to Tyrion to the return (finally) of Bran after a year off the air. There’s a lot that is going to be going on, and it doesn’t seem like any story is going to be slowing down now.

Just in case you are wondering why the show isn’t slowing down for the sake of this promo, there is a fairly clear answer to that: The network just isn’t interested in giving you that time to catch your breath. Also, giving you such tiny clips of various scenes is a way for the show to show its scope while at the same time not dropping any serious spoilers about one storyline or another. It’s a panoramic look at a story that will focus in a little bit more when we get around to the premiere.

Remember, the mystery that is season 6 is going to stay that way longer than any other season before it. After all, remember here that this is a show that has not released screeners to the press for the first time ever.
