‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 16 comic preview nice precursor to Cupid’s return
As the comic preview below (posted by executive producer Marc Guggenheim) effectively points out, Cupid is back on the loose seemingly inflicting her own brand of pain upon the city. This time around, though, she seems to be taking out her anger at not being in love on everyone else. She’s killing romantics, which could be what causes Oliver and Felicity to stage a wedding as a means to flush her out.
Yes, we’re sure that a fake wedding is probably going to frustrate many ‘shippers out there, especially since there is no verification at the moment as to when these two characters are even going to be back together. For now, Emily Bett Rickards’ character is understandably still reeling from what she went through learning about Oliver’s son William, which he hid from her as a means of appeasing the child’s mother Samantha. In the end, that storyline remains one of our least favorite that the show has done, mostly because Oliver and Felicity have gone through so much together over time that it never made a whole lot of sense for him to want to keep something from her. In the end, we feel like she would know to keep that secret.
Stay tuned, as we’ll have more from this particular “Arrow” episode soon!
