‘Top Chef’ season 14: Should it be an All-Star season?

Top Chef

On Thursday night, “Top Chef” is going to conclude season 13 with an epic showdown between Amar and Jeremy for the title, and while it may be somewhat of a bummer to see the series coming to a close, there is one thing that we’d caution you to remember right now: There is more coming!

The series has already been renewed for a 14th season, which we imagine will premiere at some point near the end of the year. As to whether or not this should be a season featuring All-Stars or all-new players, that’s something that is firmly up for debate…

Earlier this month, we spoke with judge Gail Simmons about the future of the series, and she said that she would be fine with whatever was decided. (Personally, she did say that she does have a soft spot in her heart for all-new players.) Given that there is already a casting call out there looking for new chefs, it would be easy to assume that they are going with newbies once more with maybe one or two familiar faces mixed in.

Is that really the case, though? We would caution you against that sort of thinking for sure, since they can always find interesting cast members now, and then use them at some point down the line if they want to. There’s still plenty of time for the show to make the decision, but for now be sure to vote in the poll below as to what you want to see next season.
