‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Is Malcom Merlyn ready to strike on Team Arrow?

Arrow -

At one point earlier this season, it certainly looked as though Malcolm Merlyn had fallen in line on “Arrow” despite him being in charge of the League of Assassins. However, that all changed when Oliver Queen took him out and ultimately caused him to lose an arm. Merlyn lost his power in the League, and also something that we figure was a huge part of his day-to-day life. His relationship with Thea is potentially fractured beyond repair.

So with all of this in mind, it was almost inevitable that John Barrowman’s character would be plotting out some sort of revenge path, and you are going to see that play out on the upcoming episode entitled “Eleven-Fifty-Nine,” which is airing on April 6. The synopsis below gives you some further news as to what to expect:

“Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Merlyn (John Barrowman) is going to try to break Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) out of prison. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) gets a surprising offer and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has a heart-to-heart talk with Curtis (guest star Echo Kellum).”

Other than a potential Malcolm showdown, our first reaction is happiness over Laurel getting some sort of story away from her Black Canary alter ego. Meanwhile, we are curious to see just what sort of conversation Felicity could be having with Curtis. The show will return on April 23, and hopefully at that point we’ll start to go down the road that takes you ultimately to this story and everything else this season.
