‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 finale spoilers: What’s next for Michaela, Asher?

“How to Get Away with Murder” is currently hyping up their season 2 finale to air Thursday as one of the biggest one that we’ve had a chance to see to date. How else do you describe an hour that could feature death, Annalise running away from a storm brewing in her direction, and also plenty of tears? There’s also an odd sort-of-romantic component to it, mostly because we’re still trying to wrap our head around what just happened with Michaela and Asher.

As it turns out, this move may have been intentional on showrunner Pete Nowalk’s part to have us a little disoriented. Speaking on this further to Entertainment Weekly, he had the following to say about what comes next for him:

“Guilt is the predominant feeling for both of them the next morning — specifically because Caleb is still missing … If I were their therapist, I’d say forget it ever happened. The question for next week is: Do they want to? Because from what I saw, they both seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

By the time we make it to the end of the finale, maybe we’ll figure out what is next for these two, but at the same time we don’t exactly think that this is at the top of the list of questions that many people out there want answered. It’s just one of the many little bizarre things that have happened so far this season that probably have not paid off completely just yet.
