‘Ink Master’ season 7, episode 3 preview: Is St. Marq or Cleen Rock One in any danger?

Going into this season of “Ink Master,” we gotta admit that we were not particularly excited with the idea that the show had crafted for a twist. Bringing eight superstars to the franchise on a weekly basis seemed like a super-unfair twist, and ultimately the reality here still is that it is a super-unfair twist.

Yet, at the same time, we like having only eight artists in the competition at a given time. It allows us to get to know all of them, though our hope here is that the show isn’t just going to eliminate all of the newbie artists and then leave us with eight veterans down the road. Based on the preview that aired at the end of tonight’s installment, it is very well possible that this may not happen. There is a whole lot of talk around trying to crew over a veteran, and the preview is edited in a way that makes it seem like St. Marq or Cleen Rock One could be in trouble. Is that really the case? It’s hard to say, since these can be so misleading.

There is also one other thing to consider as a key cog in this episode, and that is the arrival of another returning artist. It’s not entirely clear who it is, but it’s fair to say that they will try to mess things up for the remaining contestants further.
