Is ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 12 new tonight on ABC? First news on ‘I See You’
Tonight, ABC is trying something a little bit risky with their programming, choosing to give new series “The Family” the timeslot following “Grey’s Anatomy” for a week in an effort to try and capitalize on its ratings. Who knows? Maybe this will happen, or maybe viewers will forget almost all about the show in the blink of an eye.
What we can tell you one way or the other right now is this: The premiere of “The Family” means that you’re going to be left waiting for more “Scandal” for a while. There is no new episode coming on ABC Thursday night, and the show will pick up the story on March 10. This delay will put “Scandal” in the same spot story-wise as “Grey’s Anatomy,” which is at least good news in that they can be on the same page at least in terms of episode numbers for a while.
We don’t want you to leave this article with just bad news, so as a result of that we’ve enclosed for you something to look forward to in the first details from the upcoming March 17 episode “I See You,” which looks like it could be interesting in the political battle that is coming between Mellie Grant and Susan Ross:
“Olivia continues to spy on Jake while the gladiators have to fend for themselves. Meanwhile, Susan and Mellie are feeling the pressure as their campaigns heat up; Abby begins to question Cyrus’ motives; and a blast from the past surprises everyone.”
