ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 12 video: Olivia, Huck have a chat

There’s another new episode of “Scandal” airing on ABC Thursday night, and for this one, a primary focus is going to be on whether or not Jake and Rowan are really up to something … and also if Olivia Pope is willing to hear anyone questioning her on the subject.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Kerry Washington’s character get into a heated conversation with Huck, who does his best to implore her to look further at some of what Jake has been up to. He assures her that he and Rowan are still up to something, given that the two are living together and he killed in order to get his spot at the NSA.

In this conversation with Huck, Olivia tries to claim that she simply does not by that Rowan did anything wrong here. As for whether or not this is really true, let’s just say that this is up to interpretation. We want to think that Olivia is always aware of what is going on around her, even if this does not turn out to always be true. One way or another, we feel pretty confident still that the story with Jake is going to come home to roost. We just have to figure out precisely how that is going to happen.

Whatever does take place, we hope that it leads to more Olivia / Huck scenes. We really enjoy these two working together, and it doesn’t happen nearly as often as we’d like.
