‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 17 video: Happy, Toby face ramifications of big reveal

Anyone who watches “Scorpion” already is well aware of how Toby and Happy feel about each other. They’ve made it extremely clear in private, but there are still some questions as to how they are going to handle it in public. To us, maybe one of the biggest surprises is simply that some of the other characters on the show have not entirely figured out for themselves what is going on between the two.

In the sneak peek below, however, Toby reveals to his girlfriend that the cat is officially out of the bag … though as he puts it, cats shouldn’t be in bags in the first place. (We laughed at this.) The truth came out during one of Walter and Toby’s therapy sessions, and Walter didn’t say too much about it on the way home.

The problem that Toby really runs into here more than anything else is that there are some rules out there banning any sort of fraternization between members of the team, and yet these two went ahead and broke them. Personally, we don’t really see this as a big deal, but then again, we say this with the knowledge / the hope that there is no breakup coming. If something happened to the two, we understand how that could make things awkward on the team.

With that in mind, let’s just hope that the two stick together. In other news, who else out there swooned when Toby admitted that the two are in love?
