Is ‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 17 new tonight on CBS? ‘The Price is Right’ crossover coming

Let’s go ahead and get the bad news over with when it comes to “Scorpion” tonight: There’s no new episode coming on CBS. It’s certainly a bummer for those out there who were looking forward to the story continuing; instead, the network is airing the Grammys on an unusual night, a move that we feel is probably due to their fear of putting the show up directly against Valentine’s Day.

Hopefully, the bit of news that we have right now will help to make up for this and then some: Sylvester’s appearing on “The Price is Right” later this season! This is the sort of random crossover that is completely expected and unexpected at the same time. It’s CBS product synergy, but it makes some sense for it to happen with this character.

This moment will happen on the upcoming February 29 episode entitled “The Fast and the Nerdiest,” and we know that the game show’s host in Drew Carey and announcer in George Gray will also have a role to play. The synopsis below gives you some other information all about what to expect:

“After Sylvester scores big on THE PRICE IS RIGHT, Team Scorpion must infiltrate a high-end car smuggling operation about to ship bioweapons to South America.”

In a way, this episode may need this “Price is Right” crossover since the rest of the story sounds somewhat run-of-the-miller for this show. We’re always going to celebrate opportunities to get to know some of these characters better, and also differentiate them from some of the people we’ve come to know over time.
