NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 9 preview: Nick may need Eve’s help…

Is anyone out there still freaked out that Juliette is back on “Grimm“? We certainly are, and more than that, we’re freaked out about the specific form in particular that we are seeing her take: Eve. She’s extremely powerful, dangerous, and still mysterious to a certain degree. We figure that it may take us an adjustment period of a few episodes before we start to handle her presence on the show.

Unfortunately for Nick and company, they don’t have the luxury of acclimation. They have to find a way to deal with her right away. Luckily, it seems as though they could find a good use for her on next week’s new episode “Star-Crossed,” according to the official synopsis coming in from NBC:

“A barbaric Wesen ritual is brought to the present and Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) are already five steps behind the serial killer. To aid in the investigation, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) goes undercover. Meanwhile, Hadrian’s Wall’s war against Black Claw intensifies as Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) uses her unique skills to interrogate a suspect.”

Hopefully by the time we make it to the end of this episode all will be a little more cohesive … but probably not too much so. Given that there are some shows out there that premiered in the fall that are now well past their halfway point, it’s remarkable to think that there is still such a long way to go before this show wraps up this season.
