‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 4 preview: Emmy Rossum, confessions, and surprising suitors

For all of you out there who are looking for fun, and a little bit of drama, “Shameless” is looking to bring all of that next week.

It begins, though, with the Gallagher children all seemingly trying to come together with a common goal: Trying to buy the house at auction! Look at them trying to do something responsible with their money? Granted, there’s a vast difference between talking about it and actually doing it, and that is something that you should keep in mind here.

Also, the preview below for next week’s episode shows Frank trying to ensure that Debbie has someone to take care of her as she welcomes a child into the world: An old man. This is about as random an idea as possible, and it’s moments like these that we start to understand why this show is classified as a comedy in Emmy voting. This stuff always makes us laugh, even if we see it coming.

By the end of the promo it is fairly clear that there is a big episode coming next for Emmy Rossum, but that’s fine given that we know Fiona has a heck of a lot to sort out right now in between what she’s learned about herself and also the fragile state of the rest of her family. The best news that we can offer right now is that more than two-thirds of the season is still to come, which means that there will probably be so many more twists and turns coming before it’s all over.
