‘The Mysteries of Laura’ season 2 adds ‘The Office’ alum Jenna Fischer
Have you missed seeing Jenna Fischer on your TV? Then we come bearing great news: There is a new role coming up for her on NBC’s “The Mysteries of Laura.”
According to a new report from Deadline, the famed star of “The Office” is going to play on the Debra Messing series Jennifer Lambert, an attorney and single mother who becomes a love interest for Laura’s ex Jake. This show marks a chance for Fischer to do a little more drama than we saw from her on the NBC show, but also continue with some of the same comedic leanings we’ve come to know from her.
If nothing else, maybe this gives “The Mysteries of Laura” yet another punch, as they have been looking as of late to cast some familiar faces for guest roles. This is a show that is still in many ways fighting for its ratings life, and it needs to do almost everything that it can to ensure that it stays afloat. Fischer is the sort of guest who is certainly popular with many fans, and there is probably a natural curiosity to see some of what she is up to now. We feel the same way, actually, about several former stars of “The Office.”
As of right now new episodes of the series are going to continue airing on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time; as a matter of fact, you can check out the latest one tonight! If you want to get a few more details right away all about it, just be sure to head over to the link here right now!

Adding someone for 8 episodes? Spending more money on this DEBACLE of a show? Any guesses on how the show did Wednesday night? 1.1? 1.2? 1.3(holy cow if it did that?) Higher? 1.0(it’s finished if it does that!)

Well, the show did a 1.0 last week. That was the first episode back from hiatus. That gives it an even 1.1 for 9 episodes. That’s PATHETIC. 7 episodes left in the show. Let’s see what NBC does when SVU needs to add serious payroll at the end of the season. Like between $200,000 per episode or more.
