Is ‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 11 new tonight on CBS? First look at ‘Unity Node’
Let’s start this “Madam Secretary” article by getting the bad news out of the way here first and foremost: There is no new episode coming on CBS Sunday night. The show is off the air until Sunday, January 10, and that may give many of you out there an opportunity to catch your breath a little bit … though as for whether or not you want to do that, this is entirely up to you!
What we will go ahead and do for right now is give you a little more information about what we know about the first episode back entitled “Unity Node,” starting with the attached photo above. Think of that as confirmation that Elizabeth McCord seemingly finds a way to make it out of the brutal situation of the midseason finale alive. It certainly seems as though someone was in fact targeted by the sniper, but the odds are not particularly high that this someone was her. There are other possible targets there, and we will have to see how all of that plays out.
The thing to remember here is that while we could envision the rest of the second half of the season focusing heavily on the Russia conflict if the series really wanted to go in that direction, more than half of the episodes are still to come. Therefore, we do in some ways have a clean slate, and there are a wide array of different directions that the series could go depending on what they ultimately want to do … and we look forward to having some further news all about it every step of the way.
For now, our main advice to you is just to stay tuned!

Guess they even surprised our local paper which lists the show on tonight. Obviously the network completely blew it and didn’t let anybody know. Sucks.
