‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6 spoilers: Danny, McGarrett visit a couples retreat

There is going to be a great deal of fun to be had on the January 8 return of “Hawaii Five-0,” and there is one primary reason for this: Danny and McGarrett doing a little bit of couples therapy to work on their relationship.

This week, CBS released the synopsis for this installment (entitled “Kuleana”), and you can see it in full below:

“While McGarrett and Danny attend a couples retreat in Maui to work on their partnership issues, Kamekona’s dangerous past comes back to haunt him.”

Sure, that is not the most revealing synopsis you are ever going to see in the world, but isn’t it better to know a little information than none at all? This episode is one that you may have known a thing or two about already; it’s been teased for some time that this is coming, and a little bit of partnership therapy could be needed after some recent fractures in this relationship. Also, the team has certainly been through quite a bit lately no matter how you slice it. We’ve seen everything that has gone on for Kono with Adam this season, and McGarrett has went through some sweeping changes in his own personal life. You have to think that in one way or another these moves are going to have an impact; we’re just starting to see it now come more and more to fruition.
