‘Blindspot’ spoilers: What’s next for Jane, Weller?

It feels already like it has been some time since there was an episode of “Blindspot” on the air, and the other bad news is that the show is not coming back until February, when it will be paired with “The Voice.” That’s a long time to wait, and we don’t want to make you go that long without at least some coverage on what could be coming up for the show’s main couple … if you want to call them a couple.

Following their kiss, Weller and Jane have some things to work out moving into the second part of the season, but it looks like for now, they are going to keep most matters quiet. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, here is what show executive producer Martin Gero had to say:

“I don’t know that the rest of the team is going to know about the kiss anytime soon … I don’t think [Weller’s feelings for Jane] will stop. Just wait and see, there’s some great stuff coming up between them.”

Ultimately, one thing that the show’s producers very much probably have in mind here is that they still have a lot of time left to tell their story, especially since “Blindspot” has already been renewed for a second season. Therefore, why rush things along? There’s also plenty of other challenges that could be coming up for the two characters, especially as we start to learn a little bit more about Jane’s background in the math of learning that she wanted this.
