‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 video: Gwendoline Christie on story’s ‘epic’ feel

In case you somehow haven’t heard, there is a big movie coming out in over a week in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and Gwendoline Christine is in it! This means that she is a part of the gigantic promotional tour for the movie, and in turn, that means an occasional question here and there about “Game of Thrones.” (Granted, the “Game of Thrones” question ratio is probably lower than other stars from the show out promoting other movies. “Star Wars” is one of the few things that may trump the HBO show in cultural significance.)

In the video below, you can see Christie speak with “Extra” host Mario Lopez about the movie, and she also mentions the “epic” feel that the story has even compared to everything we’ve seen so far. She also of course is asked about Jon Snow, and dances around the subject in a way that would impress even the fiercest of water-dancers.

We just hope that we see more of Brienne in season 6, given that her story with Podrick has not had the impact of her interactions with Jaime Lannister in the past. Granted, her strike against Stannis Baratheon remains one of the most significant moments of season 5 (given that Stannis is actually dead, something we hope to be true in a sea of fake-outs that are currently plaguing TV).

There is no premiere date just yet for “Game of Thrones” season 6, but based on the teaser that was recently released by HBO, you can expect to see it come out at some point in April. You can probably expect the Jon Snow question to float around for quite a few weeks still to come.
