‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: How Sinclair’s death shakes things up
Once again there is no new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” airing on ABC tonight, just as there will not be one until we roll around to February. We do still want to bring you some further news in the interim, and this is where we are today: Discussing some of what is going to be coming up next following the shocking events of the midseason finale.
As you surely recall, none other than ADA Sinclair was killed off in a moment of rage by Asher, which led to Annalise Keating in one way or another trying to cover it up. This is what led to her being thrown off the balcony, and why Annalise wanting to be shot in the leg to make it appear as though she was also a victim. (Granted, she did not anticipate Wes shooting more to kill.)
So just how much danger is everyone going to be in now following what transpired? This is something that creator Pete Nowalk describes further as a part of a new interview with TVLine:
“There will be forensic experts all up in there. Sinclair was an ADA, so she’s a high-profile victim … Still, what I’ve learned from real law-enforcement people who talk to us is that forensic science is actually very much up to interpretation. Annalise, as a defense attorney, knows that creating a mess [at the scene] is the best strategy. But whether it works or not, we’ll find out very quickly [when the show returns Feb. 11].”
The thing that Keating and the students have on their side is intelligence and foresight. They know that they are very skilled at covering up evidence and clearing their name, and may be able to do it again here.
