‘Fuller House’ has perfect way to over for Olsen Twins’ absence
When all else fails, why not stick with the truth? When “Fuller House” first learned that they were not going to be receiving the services of Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen for the rest of the season, they had to figure out a way to explain why in the world Michelle wasn’t around.
According to Us Weekly, that way is by saying simply that the character is off being successful in the world of fashion design in New York … and of course working on running a fashion empire. This is what Mary-Kate and Ashley are doing in real life, so it certainly makes sense to have the art imitate their life.
The site also claims that Michelle will certainly be referenced in many ways throughout the season, even if she is not actually seen. That’s a way to still make her feel a part of the universe, since it would be rather depressing to think that she had completely abandoned her entire family and never wanted to speak to them anymore.
The thirteen-episode first season of “Fuller House” will premiere early next year, and it will be stuffed full of nostalgia with Candace Cameron Bure, Jodi Sweetin, and Andrea Barber taking center stage for more of the story. Many other former cast members will stop by, and John Stamos is also an executive producer. We’re going to have much more news related to the series as we start to find out more, so that is something to definitely look forward to.
