‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: Bran Stark takes center stage in first promo!

“Game of Thrones” has such a robust cast and a rich history, it can do things that many other shows would be absolutely terrified to do. Want one example? How about putting a character front and center in your latest promo who has not been featured on the show in more than a year.

The last we saw of Bran Stark, it was during the episode “The Children” where he began what appeared to his training to evolve some of his unique set of skills. Is he the new Three-Eyed Raven, and can he see everything in the past, present, and potentially future? There are some hints of that in this promo, though we don’t seem him imagining any particular events to come. The only thing that makes us wonder is hearing Bran suggest that nobody has any idea precisely what is going to be coming. It makes us think that maybe he potentially does.

One thing is at least for certain: Bran is not going to be thrown asunder this time, and he will have an enormous role in the series’ endgame still. The same may go for Jon Snow. For a character that is seemingly dead, the show and HBO sure are focusing on him a lot!

One other thing that is notable here is the mention that the new season will premiere in fact with April. given that ‘Girls” is starting later this year, there were some concerns that “Game of Thrones” could be shifted all the way back into early May for one reason or another.
