‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6, ‘Major Crimes’ season 4C 2015 return dates revealed!

TNT has revealed the rest of its winter schedule for a pair of beloved shows, and just as you would expect, they are doing the smart thing here and sticking to what works.

First, let’s begin with “Rizzoli & Isles.” After being off the air since the summer, the network confirms that the Angie Harmon – Sasha Alexander show is going to be returning with the remainder of season 6 starting on Tuesday, February 16. Not only that, but they will be airing back-to-back episodes starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time! Following this first week, the show will go back into a little bit of a pattern, and air installments on a weekly basis the rest of the way this season (which is only for four additional weeks).

As for “Major Crimes,” the TNT series is doing something that is incredibly unusual at this point for any scripted show: Having a third block of episodes. The upcoming five installments were ordered after the initial order was, and they are going to be telling a consistent story rather than being broken off into a series of individual cases. all of a sudden, the show is going to be becoming a little bit less like “Law & Order” and a little more like a show like “Fargo” or “True Detective.” These episodes will begin on February 15 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

For those wondering, there are still some more stories to go this fall on “Major Crimes,” so there is no reason to start packing up now, thinking as though there are no more interesting stories left to tell.
