‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Boden fights back
There are many things to love about Boden on “Chicago Fire,” but one of the biggest ones has to be the simple fact that this is simply a man who does not suffer fools. He is not going to idly stand by while some others try to take him down, and part of the action in the next episode “When Tortoises Fly” is going to be about that.
While we know that there are some other stories coming up in this episode, we really cannot help but focus primarily on what’s going on with our favorite Chief. After all, at this point there are so many characters roped into his story, and what happens to him could in turn impact so many others at the Firehouse.
Take a look at the synopsis below for some further details, just in case you have not seen it already:
“Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) confronts Maddox (guest star Mark Hengst), believing he is the hand behind Serena’s (guest star Ilfenesh Hadera) accusations intended to skew Boden’s credibility from the approaching trial. Severide (Taylor Kinney) reaches out to Jamie (guest star Rachel Nichols), Maddox’s lawyer, in an effort to help out and Capt. Patterson (guest star Brian White) questions Boden’s ability to remain Chief. Meanwhile, Brett (Kara Killmer) and Chili (Dora Madison) discover a man passed out in a garden that may have a connection to a call from a previous crash site and Otis looks to fill up his social calendar, but the situation hits a bump in the road.”
There are many things to hope for in this episode, but at the moment some sort of resolution to this story is at the top of the priority list. We don’t want to see Boden continue to be hurt by hurtful accusations.
