‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 7 preview: What’s next for Tea Leoni, cast?
Tonight’s new episode of “Madam Secretary” was definitely a personal one for the character of Alicia Florrick, and there were a fairly wide array of reasons for that. It started with the mere idea of an ISIS threat, but it also brought back Elizabeth McCord’s constant need to want to protect her brother, even though it was pretty clear for the most part that he was someone who did not always want this protection.
So where are we going moving into the next new episode? Let’s just say that this one is going to be taking on a subject that is particularly relevant in 2015 in Cuba, as we are going to get a chance to see Elizabeth do everything that she can in an effort to ensure that the Senate supports her in making trade to the country easier. The synopsis below offers up some other information:
“With the support of President Dalton, Elizabeth attempts to get the Senate’s support for a history-making effort to lift the Cuban trade embargo. Also, Henry and Alison bond while touring Havana together.”
The promo that aired after the episode tonight teased what may be an important B story for the episode, as Elizabeth tries to bring back someone potentially guilty of shooting a police officer almost 40 years ago in order for them to serve out their sentence in the United States. As you would expect with this show, and with this sort of case, it is not going to be altogether easy for answers to arrive.
