‘The Blacklist’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Is Ressler ready to crash Liz, Tom’s big reunion?
There are only two more episodes of “The Blacklist” to go this fall, and the first question that you should have in response to that is rather simple: Where in the world did all of the time go? We don’t know the answer to that, but the next installment looks to be a big one based on the promo below.
After much work and planning, Liz and Tom Keen are finally going to meet up again for a tete-a-tete; unfortunately, the problem is that one of them may bring some rather-unwelcome company to the affair. Ressler will show up, and threaten to stop the entire operation right before it is starting to get close to her getting potentially-exonerated.
If you have not seen the synopsis below just yet, it gives you a little bit of a sense as to what is going on with another character:
“A family tragedy in Samar’s (Mozhan Marno) past resurfaces when the Task Force hunt for an elusive international terrorist. The FBI and the Cabal gain significant ground in their search for Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader). Meanwhile, Tom (Ryan Eggold) encounters complications in his plan to exonerate Liz.”
It feels as though the series planned out the on-the-run arc perfectly, given that we would not be surprised to see it end in the fall finale, that way the show can drift back into more familiar territory for the remaining run of episodes. If they do, we really do hope that they do not forget about what they brought to the table here, given that this is one of the most entertaining run of episodes that the series has given us in some time.
