‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 6 preview: An ISIS crisis and Elizabeth’s brother
“Madam Secretary” so far this season has taken a good deal of time.trying to illustrate some of the various relationships in Elizabeth McCord’s life, but come next week, there is one in particular that may stand out more than any other: The one that she has with her brother Will.
Is there love between these two? Sure, but they do not always have the same goals. He is someone who works more on the ground, and on this upcoming episode (entitled “Catch and Release”), he may question some of what she is doing. However, at the same time we figure that eventually they will get on the same page; we know Elizabeth to be benevolent in her job, and she will want the right thing for those who are putting so much on the line out there.

“After an American aid worker is killed in Syria by the first known American ISIS leader, Elizabeth recalls all aid workers stationed there, including her brother, Will (Eric Stoltz), and makes it her mission to get justice for the victim. Also, Henry is conflicted when Dmitri asks for help saving Ivan (Dennis Staroselsky), who has been called back to Moscow.”
